App: Baloot Calculator (com.baloot.qa)

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Baloot Calculator (“the App”) handles information. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

2. Using the App Without an Account

The App works fully without an account and without an internet connection. In this mode we collect no personal information, and the following data is stored only on your device:

• Game scores and round history
• Team and player names you enter
• App settings (theme, scoring preferences, mute)
• Match history you save in the App

3. Optional Sign In

Signing in is optional and is only needed to create a group and share results with other players. If you sign in with Apple, we receive and store:

• Your account identifier, to link your data to you
• Your email address as provided by Apple, which may be a private relay address if you choose. We never use it for marketing
• Your name, only if you choose to share it, used as a display name
• The unique handle you pick, so members of your group can find you

4. Groups

If you create or join a group, the following is stored on our servers and shared only with members of that same group:

• Player names and teams added to the group
• Game results, standings, and tournament results

No one outside the group can access this data.

5. How We Use Information

• Calculate and display Baloot scores
• Remember your settings and past matches
• Sync your games and standings with members of your group
• Read scores aloud using the device’s text-to-speech feature

6. Speech Feature

When you use score reading, the App uses the device’s built-in speech system. We do not record, store, or upload your voice or any audio.

7. Advertising

The App displays ads through Google AdMob. Ads are non-personalized: we do not track your activity across other apps and websites, and the App does not request tracking permission. The ad provider may collect a device identifier and general usage data to serve ads and prevent fraud, under its own policy.

8. Data Storage and Sharing

• Data of users without an account stays on the device only
• Account and group data is stored with our service provider, Supabase, on secure servers protected by permissions that prevent any user from accessing data of a group they are not a member of
• We do not sell your data
• We do not share your data with advertisers for marketing purposes

9. Data Deletion

• You can leave any group from within the App
• You can delete players and games you added
• You can delete your account and all its data from the App settings
• You may also clear the App’s data from your device settings, or uninstall it

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
